Victor City Council and Planning Commission Meetings to be Conducted In-Person
Because local COVID-19 cases remain low, effective June 1, 2021, Victor City Council and Planning Commission meetings will once again be conducted entirely in-person in the Council Chambers located at 32 Elm Street. Members of the public are welcome and encouraged to make public comment in-person during meetings or in writing ahead of meetings. As always, specific instructions to submit written public comment for public hearings will be included in the related public notice. Remote public participation in meetings will no longer be an option.
The entire Eastern Idaho Public Health District continues to be in the minimal COVID-19 risk category. Teton County, Idaho continues to lead the Eastern Idaho Public Health District region in vaccine uptake. In accordance with CDC guidance, face coverings are no longer required to be worn in City Council Chambers by COVID-19 vaccinated people. We ask that unvaccinated individuals please continue to wear face coverings when in the Council Chambers. As the pandemic unfolds, the City will continue to monitor local conditions closely and may adjust how public meetings are conducted. The City of Victor wishes to thank the community for taking the COVID-19 preventative measures seriously to prevent the spread of disease locally.
