Tuesday, November 6^th is the date.  Voting will be held at the LDS Church from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Remember to exercise your constitutional right and vote for the candidate of your choice.

OLD TRAIN DEPOT UPDATE

The first day of Spring has come and gone – hard to believe it’s Spring with all the snow still surrounding us – but sooner than later the season will be upon us.  With meter reading season right around the corner, the Utility Billing section of our office has an important reminder: 

DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS

The City is currently reviewing our utility accounts. Please note that as a policy. Accounts that are 3 months or more past due will receive a lien along with a service shutoff. We apologize for an in convenience that this may cause. For any questions please contact Amy at the City’s billing department 208-787-2940.

IMPORTANT SNOW REMOVAL INFORMATION

It wouldn’t be November without this being mentioned for you and your family’s welfare in mind.  Halloween has come and gone and it usually means that the “rumors” of snow are generally reality in the forecast.  Victor residents are cranking up their thermostats & adding thermal layers to keep warm while carrying on with our outdoor pursuits.  With that time drawing near, the City’s Public Works staff would like to pass on a few timely reminders that are brought to you in an effort to prevent collisions of snow removal equipment with other types of vehicles and reduce the possibility of accidents involving pedestrians.

SINCERE THANKS

On behalf of the residents of the City of Victor, we would like to say thank you to Scott Fitzgerald for his years of dedicated services – both as a Councilman and as our Mayor during the past four years.  The list of his accomplishments while in office are too numerous to mention here, but his openness and willingness to work with all different kind of groups and his vision has only helped Victor grow as time marches on.

We all wish Scott, his lovely wife, Jannine and his son Braden all the best and hope the future is full of long, relaxing bike trips!!

If you have any interest in either becoming Mayor (one two year position) or joining Victor’s City Council (two four year positions the deadline for filing your intent to run is this Friday, September 9^th at 5:00 p.m.
